AV Residence is conceived as a contemporary tropical home for a young family with teenage children. While the spatial needs of the family remain relatively simple, consisting of communal living spaces, bedrooms, and supporting service areas and the design process goes far beyond a conventional residential layout. The house is fundamentally driven by Feng Shui principles, where spatial organization is guided by the balance of energy, orientation, and harmony between the inhabitants and their environment.
